Tomorrow is April... and our day of the Charity Concert for Japan. As being so far away from Japan, our native country... raising money is least we can do...
This morning, we received last part of the music from our wonderful arranger... Great great thanks to her. She was so busy, but finished 4 movements work including 12 little Japanese folk songs... Original used to be Flute and Piano. However, she made it happened for 3 flutes and Piano! We rehearsed this afternoon for the 1st time (for tomorrow's performance)... and it was great. So rich, and so much fun to play. We rehearsed without looking at the clock... which when things are going without looking at the clock... is GREAT thing!!! :) Time just went, and we had fun tire time. We all noticed that good 4 hours went by... by our body and brain... lol We were concentrated...
We are ready for tomorrow's concert! All music done by Japanese composers. I think it will be a very exciting program... and very fun to listen, easy to listen... :) I am so excited to shear with so many people that beauty of Japanese melodies... And rase money for our native land...
This concert will be sponsored by Japonaide, new association created after the awful disaster in Japan... All money will be 100% sure donated to Japan.
